What is Latinos Unidos?

Latinos Unidos (LU) is the Latino cultural group on the Lake Forest College campus composed of students, staff and professors. We educate and heighten awareness of different aspects of the Latino culture within the group and for the LFC community as a whole. We foster a sense of community within our members and therefore our group is open to everyone, not just Latinos. We are one body united.

Mission Statement-

Latinos Unidos is founded on members’ deeply embedded traditions stemming from our individual cultures. Together, we are a support group for people that are both interested in and a part of the Latino Culture.  Based on the aforementioned commonality, the support group accommodates the needs of each member.  Our ultimate goal is to advocate unity, respect, and knowledge of Latino Culture.
